Ever wonder what wildlife do during cold winters? Join volunteer Robin on this guided walk to discover the answer along some of the Beall trails! This walk occurs every fourth Saturday through the winter months.
Date and Time: Saturday, March 22nd, 11am-12:30pm
Location: Beall Parking Area, located off Cortland Road at the end of Beall Lane. Co Rte 35/18, Canaan Heights, WV 26260
Accessibility: Hike will be approximately one mile along native material trail with a short sections of uneven terrain. This walk will take place on snowshoes if conditions allow. We have a few pairs available for the program on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us at canaanvalley@fws.gov to reserve a pair. Unfortunately we do not have child-sized snowshoes.
What to Bring: This program is entirely outdoors, dress for the weather!
