The Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery is always seeking qualified volunteers/interns to help with daily operations/projects. Our volunteers are individuals of all ages and skill sets who want to give back to their communities and have a hand in species and habitat restoration.
Looking for “Friends” to join and volunteer with our local Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery “Friends Group”. Volunteers assist in organizing special events for the community like Kids Fishing Day, Open House and other events related to youth environmental education. We are looking for community members who enjoy our Hatchery to help us expand the group and spread the Fish and Wildlife Service message.
If you, or someone you know in the community would like to join the group, please let us know by emailing Friends Group representative, hatchery Assistant Manager, Haile Macurdy at haile_macurdy@fws.gov.
Our Partners
Partnerships foster creative solutions to challenging situations and often the results are greater than the sum of the parts. Within every one of our programs at the hatchery, we work with a multitude and fantastic partners. Our partners actively work with us to achieve our conservation goals, and with whom our mission is a great success.
