Connecticut Ribbon Cutting Highlands Conservation Act Grant Program

Colleen Sculley of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service cuts the ribbon with the help of Matt Starr from Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection along with several others at an event celebrating the conservation of three properties in Washington, Connecticut. Conserved land at Steep Rock Association’s Hidden Valley Preserve is expanding and has even more to offer visitors, thanks to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Highlands Conservation Act grant program.
