Delaware River Basin Restoration Program Fiscal Year 2022 Report to Congress

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Delaware River Basin Restoration Program produces an annual Report to Congress on the implementation of the Delaware River Basin Conservation Act, as directed by the Act.

The fiscal year 2022 report showcases program accomplishments to date across strategic program areas and highlights a diversity of projects funded by the Delaware Watershed Conservation Fund since its launch in 2018. In five years of grantmaking, the fund has awarded $40.4 million to 159 projects, which have generated $59.7 million in match, for a total conservation impact of $100.1 million.

The fiscal year 2022 report also highlights the historic investment of $26 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Bipartisan Infrastructure Law
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) is a once-in-a-generation investment in the nation’s infrastructure and economic competitiveness. We were directly appropriated $455 million over five years in BIL funds for programs related to the President’s America the Beautiful initiative.
