Robert Bealle (1952- ) Robert Bealle has been a life long resident of Maryland and still resides on the farm where he was born and raised. His entire life has revolved around the outdoors, and has instilled a respect for wildlife and the land. Starting out as a professional taxidermist, after several years this business lead him into a successful career in wildlife art. He gained recognition as a wildlife artist after placing 2nd in the 1983 Federal Duck Stamp Contest. Before winning the Federal Duck Stamp Contest in 2009, he won three Maryland Duck Stamp Contests (1994, 2003 and 2008). Robert works in various mediums, but his preferred mediums are oils and watercolors. His subjects vary from wildlife, landscapes and still lifes.
