A Bear River Cutthroat Trout invites the reader to "Follow me on my adventures." We begin our journey near Evanston, WY. The Old Evanston Dam was blocking cutthroat and other fish from moving through the bear river. Partners began working together to Remove the dam and help our fish friends! September 2022, the dam was buried, the nearby ditch improved, and the banks revegetated. The project used several natural structures. toewood (tree roots) helped stabilize the riverbanks. The fish can now swim onwards and the adventure continues. Until next time....
