Hagerman Fishing Sign

Bank fishing is common year-round along Big Mineral Creek, casting from the lake shoreline in Goode Day Use Area, along the sandy shores of Sandy Point, and from the oil pad access roads off Oil Field Road.

Old livestock ponds located throughout the refuge are open from March 15 through September 30th annually. Commonly caught species include Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, Bluegill, Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, and White Crappie.

Did you know?

Lake Texoma is one of the few lakes in America just salty enough to support naturally reproducing Striped bass

populations.
