Identifying Areas of High Salinity in the Pecos River Basin CART Case Study Handout

Increased salinity of the Pecos River has become a major concern among water users and water managers. In 2015, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and partners assessed the major sources of salinity throughout the basin to identify potential areas of elevated salinity and evaluate how the salinity of the Pecos River has changed over time.
