Juvenile lake sturgeon at Edenton NFH

This juvenile lake sturgeon was raised at Edenton NFH. Edenton NFH releases thousands of lake sturgeon into the French Broad River, NC. In cooperation with NC Wildlife Resources, Edenton NFH hopes to restore lake sturgeon to North Carolina. This effort is part of a larger, multi-state, multi-agency effort to restore lake sturgeon in the Tennessee River and its tributaries.
