Pine Time

Within the Ponderosa pine woodland at War Horse National Wildlife Refuge - War Horse Unit, junipers, grasses, flowering forbs, and bare soil lined with pine straw make up the general understory providing ideal habitat, concealment, travel routes, and food sources for the wildlife found therein.
