Tribal coho at Quilcene NFH

Not every adult salmon that returns to Quilcene National Fish Hatchery is spawned for the next generation of hatchery fish. Some are passed up river for natural spawning and others, like the coho salmon in this picture, are provided to our partner tribes for cultural use.
