Birding

The National Conservation Training Center’s 530 acres of fields, forest and river frontage makes it an excellent location for bird watching all year round.  A NCTC bird checklist and binoculars are available to guests at the Front Desk.

Hunting
2024 NCTC Deer Hunt

We are no longer accepting applications to hunt at NCTC for the 2024 Season.  All applicants should have been notified via email of their selection results.

Hiking

There are several walking trails of varying lengths throughout the campus. NCTC's walking trail guide, color-coded by trail and length are available at the Front Desk. See list of trails you can hike on.

Running

There are miles of recreational trails around the outlying areas of the property.  See list of trails.
