Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1946 to provide habitat for migratory birds, wildlife, and plants native to the area.
Annual White-tailed Deer Hunt Begins November 8th

The refuge is hosting three weekends (segments) for White-tail deer hunting. During the listed hunt times you can expect trail closures and limited access to certain areas. Trails/areas close the day before each hunt segment at 2:30PM and re-open the day after the end of each segment.

Closures: Good Day Use Area, Raasch Trail, Harris Creek Trail
