Visitor Center Closures

The Sachuest Point Visitor Center will be closed 12/25 and 1/1. The Visitor Center will close at 12:30pm on 12/24 and 12/31. The trails and the single restroom will remain open sunrise-sunset.

Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge provides an important stopover and wintering area for migratory birds.

Potential Road Closures: High wave action and heavy storms often impact the road to Sachuest, and may lead to road closures. Check for road closure updates on https://middletownri.com/

Dangerous Surf: Please exercise caution when navigating the shoreline during periods of high wave action. Avoid wet rocks, as they are slippery and could be fatal.
