About Us

For more than 60 years, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Ecological Services program has protected and restored fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats. Our roots trace back to the River Basins Program that reviewed federal water development projects. Since 1945, Ecological Services’ responsibilities have expanded to include reviews of most federal construction projects, endangered species, environmental contaminants and a variety of conservation partnerships and grants.

Our Mission

Working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants, and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

The vision of the MN-WI Field Office is to foster a sustainable and just environment for future generations through science, collaboration, and stewardship.

Other Facilities in this Complex
