Visit Us
Our lobby is open to the public and features informational displays describing the work we do and profiles on some of the fish species held on station. Our laboratories and other work areas are not generally open for tours so we encourage groups to email or call to pre-arrange a tour.
Activities
Portions of the facility, beyond the interior boundary, are open to public access and bird hunting during certain periods of the year. The station currently follows New Mexico’s shooting hours which are ½ hour before sunrise to sunset. Requirements are a valid New Mexico Hunting License and staying within the designated hunting areas. More information can be found from New Mexico Department of Game and Fish.
