Florida Keys Wildlife Society | U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service

Our volunteers help maintain trails and habitats, participate in regular environmental trash clean ups on beaches and wild areas, and help visitors understand the unique environment and the species that are being protected by the Refuges throughout the Keys. They also operate the Nature store at the Refuges’ Nature Center on Big Pine Key.

We often partner with non-governmental conservation organizations on conservation projects, whether it's to conserve identified species such as the monarch butterfly or to advise on land acquisition for conservation so that it has the greatest benefit for species.
