Friends of Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Complex

Friends of Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Complex is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which helps fund education, interpretation, and outreach programs at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The Friends group is dedicated to:

  • Promoting public awareness and appreciation of the natural and cultural history of the Puget Sound area - the Nisqually River Watershed and Delta.
  • The conservation and preservation of Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, Black River Unit, and Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge, and management of their essential wildlife habitats.
  • Organizing and providing for the public a variety of natural history presentations and printed materials to enhance understanding and appreciation of the Puget Sound area and its fish and wildlife resources.
