Friends of the Teton River

Friends of the Teton River (FTR) is a nationally-recognized leader in science and community-based watershed protection and restoration.  Founded on sound science, we work closely with a diverse group of community members, local stakeholders, regional representatives, and state and federal agencies, to implement on-the-ground projects and programs. We work to protect, restore and improve our water resources for today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

Partner Category

We often partner with non-governmental conservation organizations on conservation projects, whether it's to conserve identified species such as the monarch butterfly or to advise on land acquisition for conservation so that it has the greatest benefit for species.
