January
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibit at the Florida Wildlife Expo in Orlando.
o Attend planning meeting for the First Day of Sale Hometown Event.
February
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibit at the Southeastern Wildlife Expo, Charleston, SC.
o Contact the winning federal artist's Senators about hosting the Congressional Reception held in conjunction with the annual art competition and reserving a room on the Hill for the event.
March
o Announce the dates of the duck stamp contest and publish the contest regulations in the FEDERAL REGISTER, including any changes.
o Send contest regulations to the artists mailing list.
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibit at the Montana Wildlife & Western Heritage Expo in Great Falls, MT.
April
o Federal Duck Stamp original art remains in the Duck Stamp Office for preparation of the Top Ten Photo Exhibits for the Regions/Refuges.
May
o Participate in the Ducks Unlimited Great Outdoors Expo in Memphis, TN.
o Artist's tour of the printing of the duck stamps at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
o Participate in the COMPEX Stamp Show in Chicago.
June
o First Day of Issue and Signing Ceremony for the new stamp held in D.C.
July
o First Day of Sale Ceremony for the new stamp held in the winning artist's hometown. Stamp officially goes on sale around the country.
o Federal Duck Stamp Contest officially opens July 1 to accept entries.
August
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at the LeBlanc Memorial Wildlife Art Show in Iron River, MI.
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at the Louisiana Wildfowl Festival in New Orleans, LA
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at Studio 124 Gallery in Florence, AL.
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at the Arts Festival Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
o Duck Stamp Contest officially closes for entries on August 30 at midnight.
o Participate in the American Philatelic Society Stamp Show, which is held in a different location each year.
September
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at the Watertown Wildlife & Western Art Show in Watertown, SD.
o Participate in the Wings'N Water Festival in Stone Harbor, NJ.
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show in Seattle, WA.
October
o Conduct the Federal Duck Stamp Contest in D.C., which includes the annual Judges Dinner and the Congressional Reception.
o Participate in the J.N. "Ding" Darling Annual Birthday Celebration at Sanibel Island, FL.
o Display Federal Original Art Exhibit at the Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin, TX.
o Participate in ASDA MegaEvent Stamp Show in New York City.
November
o Display Federal and Junior Original Art Exhibits at the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, MD.
