When the Service......you will number the associated interest in land or use right of the case according to the following format...
Acquires only an interest in land

 

For example, acquiring a road easement from John Smith

Smith, John (10R)

You must use the list in Exhibit 13 to assign the capital letter(s) identifying the type of land interest

Acquires only an interest in land for two or more tracts

For example, acquiring a Waterfowl Production Area easement on three tracts.

Smith, John (10X,1,2)

You must use the list in Exhibit 13 to assign the capital letter(s) identifying the type of land interest

Grants or conveys a right-of-way or use right (see 50 CFR, Part 29) 

For example, the Service grants a right-of-way for a road.

You must use the list in Exhibit 13 to assign the capital letter(s) identifying the type of land interest

Grants or conveys two or more of the same rights-of-way or use right (See 50 CFR, Part 29)

For example, the Service grants two different road uses.
