FWS to Examine Status of Honduran Hummingbird for Possible Addition to Endangered Species List
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced today that a petition to list the Honduran emerald hummingbird (Amazilia luciae) under the Endangered Species Act contains substantial information indicating that listing may be warranted. The Service is now seeking data and comments from the public in order to conduct a full status review of this species.
