Fishing is permitted at Bandon Marsh NWR during daylight hours on both Bandon Marsh and Ni-les'tun Marsh. The refuge offers opportunities to fish for salmon, steelhead, sea-run cutthroat trout, striped bass and surfperch from the banks of the Coquille River. Tidal channels within the marsh are challenging to fish because of tides and woody debris, but they offer opportunities for cutthroat trout for the enterprising angler. Fishing season is year-round and in accordance with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations. Fishers can access the Coquille River and Fahy Creek by foot or via boat ramps at Bullard's Beach State Park and Rocky Point County Park. For more information on fishing and shellfishing on the refuge, check out our Fishing Plan.
