Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge

The mission of the National Wildlife Refuge System Law Enforcement program:

"Through Education and enforcement we protect our employees, volunteers, and visitors; safeguard the public’s investment in facilities and equipment; and protect the integrity of the habitat and the wildlife resources of the National trust resource which is the 150 million acre National Wildlife Refuge System.” 

Federal law enforcement officers ensure the safety of the public and the protection of natural resources. They address illegal activities, including poaching, taking of endangered species, dumping of trash, illegal operation of all terrain vehicles, trespassing, vandalism, and more.

This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and the dispatch office will contact a Refuge Law Enforcement Officer with your report 

Timely reporting of crimes is important to reducing crime on the refuge. When calling in a violation please remember to provide as much information as possible including, who (persons and vehicles involved), what happened and how, when, and where the crime took place. If you have a camera available and it is safe to do so please take a picture of the event and share it with us.
