Fishing at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge

At Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, fishing is allowed in Pasture Point Pond. Fishing is catch-and-release only. Fishing is allowed during regular refuge hours of operation. Fishing season is year-round, except on days when the area is closed for hunting or other management activities. All fishing is from the bank where allowed and the dock. Available species include bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie. Exceptions to Delaware state regulations include: no bowfishing; hook restrictions (barbless hooks only); bait restrictions (artificial only allowed) and catch-and-release. Lead free tackle is required.
