Pinckney Island NWR maintians over 14 miles of gravel road and grass trails that provide visitors access to all parts of the refuge and are perfect for bicycling. In fact, due to the linear nature of Pinckney's main road, bicycling is the most efficient way to get the most out of your visit. E-bikes are also permitted and bicyclers are advised to be prepared in the event of an accident. Always carry a cell phone and let someone know where you are and when you should be expected to return. To minimize potential cause for accidents, bicyclists should always remain on designated roads and trails.
