Riparian Loop Trail

Open between February 15- June 30, visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the refuge’s wildlife, wildflowers and scenery. There is roughly 6 miles of different trail loops (see brochure). Trails may be accessed from 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset. Trails can be accessed from Parking Area B, located on the east side of the Sutter Bypass.Directions: (see map) about 5 miles south of Yuba City on Hwy 99, go 5 miles west on O'Banion Rd to the East Bypass Levee Rd, go north on the Bypass Levee Rd for 1/2 mile to Parking Area B (on the right).Some trail areas have uneven surfaces, so hiking boots are recommended. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leash. Visitors are asked to register upon arrival so that refuge staff may evaluate and improve the program.
