About Christy Cincotta
Christy brings her life-long love of nature, learning, and people to the Employee Engagement and Leadership Development Manager role. Christy joined USFWS as the Coastal Program Biologist in the Southern Alaska Fish and Wildlife Field Office in 2020. Prior to starting with the Service, Christy utilized her biologist training working for a variety of conservation nonprofits all over the country, including in Rhode Island, New Jersey, California, Georgia, and Washington. In 2011, Christy moved to Alaska to serve as the Executive Director of Tyonek Tribal Conservation, where she spent the next nine years learning from the people of Tyonek and growing the organization. Christy gained valuable experience while detailing in the EELD role in 2022, where she led a cross-programmatic team to develop and implement the first New Employee Orientation for the region.
