About Michael Fulghum
Michael Fulghum entered the US Fish and Wildlife service in August of 2023 where he joined the staff of the Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery in Warm Springs, GA. Before joining the USFWS, he worked for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. During his time there, he gained experience as an educator and public speaker before moving into the roles of aquarist, biologist, and assistant program manager. Michael’s early love of the outdoors and natural resources led him to Georgia College and State University where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science in 2008. In 2017, he graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with his master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems.
