Stream Habitat Restoration to Benefit Native & Sport Fishes
An overview of stream habitat remediation projects by the Lower Great Lakes Fish & Wildlife Conservation Office

The Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office provides technical and financial assistance to protect and improve aquatic habitat for fish and other aquatic organisms. We partner with federal, state, and local agencies, non-governmental organizations, private groups and individuals to identify, develop, and implement aquatic habitat restoration projects on private and public lands in the Lake Erie and Lake Ontario watersheds in New York and Pennsylvania. Here we highlight some of the stream restoration efforts funded through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. To view the complete story, click here.
