Canada Geese
In the wild, berries, grains and seeds are the foods for which Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) search day after day. In shallow water Canada Geese eat roots, shoots, stems and bulbs pulled up from the bottom. Shown on Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, this flock located a food source.
