Mistflower

Mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum) is a native wetland wildflower that occurs on poorly-drained soils on Pocosin Lakes and Alligator River National Wildlife Refuges. It blooms late in the growing season and provides nectar for bees and butterflies. The fluffy seeds are consumed by songbirds throughout the winter.
