For fiscal year 2024, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) awarded 20 competitive Prescott Grants totaling about $2.175 million to conservation organizations and state agencies. The Prescott Grant Program helps foster the Service's relationship with partners who are closest to the resources (e.g., state agencies, Tribes, local communities, aquaria, researchers, and authorized rescue and rehabilitation networks) by providing needed support for their response efforts.
