Project Leader Kelly Taylor and Motor Vehicle Operator Charles Hood attended the TVA signing event at Tammen Park in Blue Ridge Georgia and provided rainbow trout for stocking. Members of US Fish and Wildlife Service, Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, Georgia Department of Natural Resources and Tennessee Valley Authority got together for the signing of the TVA agreement at Taman Park in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Steve Jackson acting ARD for FAC in Region 4 started the event off and introduced Ted Will from Georgia Department of natural resources. Jason Maxedon from Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency followed him, then Mike Oetker Regional Director for Region 4 U.S. Fish wildlife service, followed by Michael McCall from the Tennessee Valley Authority. All four individuals signed the agreement then proceeded to stock a net of fish into the Blue Ridge Tailwaters. The agreement benefits, three Federal fish hatcheries, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, and all the surrounding counties where these fish are stocked. The counties are benefitted with the stockings by bringing in the revenue and jobs. It also provides a recreational fishing opportunity to the public in TVA water projects in Georgia and Tennessee.
