Enjoy a book in nature with our Little Free Library
These birdhouse-shaped boxes are part of a global book-sharing movement called "Little Free Libraries." The refuge currently has two L.F.B.s-- one outside the Old Cedar Avenue Bridge Nature Play Area in Bloomington, and one outside the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center (pictured). The visitor center's library was painted by ranger Logan Sauer. The artwork shows a variety of plants that you may find around the visitor center when in season. Stop by and borrow a book!
A big thank you to everyone who made this little free library come to life, especially to Kyle from Boy Scout Troop 100!
