Target Audience:
FWS EMPLOYEES / AFFILIATED PERSONNEL ONLY who operates and provides Heavy Equipment Safety training on Service-owned, leased, or rented heavy equipment. Contact your appropriate Regional Heavy Equipment Coordinator to register for the course.
Summary and Objectives:
This mandatory course is provided every three years for FWS (HE) safety instructors. This course is designed to give the safety instructor new information regarding updated policy and safety training procedures. Provides students with practical knowledge and skills to deliver the Service Heavy Equipment Safety Training program in a consistent format as required by Service policy.
Prerequisite:
Completion of the FWS Heavy Equipment Safety Instructor "Train-the-Trainer" course.
