With Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge covering over 14,000 acres, there are more than 45 miles of trails to discover! Join us for our Intro to Hiking series as we explore the trails together. No prior experience needed and no special equipment required.

Registration Information: 10 walk in spots available and 15 spots open for voluntary registration through Signup.com.
Activity Level: Medium-active, we will walk a good walking pace and make some stops.
Meet Us: Meet us near the parking lot at Minnesota Riverfront Park.
What to Bring: Good walking shoes, water, and bug spray/sunscreen if you have it. Monitor weather forecast and be prepared for the temperature and precipitation. A cancellation notice will be sent via email to registered participants in the event of severe weather. If you are not registered, please monitor our website, SignUp, or MeetUp page.
Accessibility: Portable restroom is available at this trailhead and there is no drinking water access. This paved trail is mostly flat we will plan to walk 3-4 miles.
Program Leader: This program is led by refuge staff.
