Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge

Friends of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to supporting the US Fish & Wildlife Service Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Our Friends organization is entirely dependent upon volunteer support and funding from membership dues, donations, grants and fund raising events.

As a way to regularly highlight the creativity of our local community, Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, in collaboration with Friends of Parker River, hosts an artist-in-residence program, that features art from the nearby area. We often partner with non-governmental conservation organizations on conservation projects, whether it's to conserve identified species such as the monarch butterfly or to advise on land acquisition for conservation so that it has the greatest benefit for species.
