U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Employees come together for All Kentucky Meeting

On May 17 Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery Staff attended the All Kentucky U.S. Fish and Wildlife annual meeting. This year's gathering was held at the Green River National Wildlife Refuge in Henderson, KY. Established in November of 2019, Green River is the 568th National Wildlife Refuge in the nation, and the second refuge managed in Kentucky.

Attending the meeting were employees from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that work in Kentucky. Representatives from the Louisville Law Enforcement, Ecological Services, Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR), Clark's River National Wildlife Refuge, Green River National Wildlife Refuge and Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery were all in attendance. Updates and accomplishments were given by employees at each office, with opportunities for networking and questions as well. After lunch, challenges between each Kentucky office for a "golden trophy" resulted in some competitive fun, with Clark's River National Wildlife Refuge staff coming away as the winners. It was a day of learning, cooperation, and fun.
