Target Audience:
FWS EMPLOYEES/AFFILIATED PERSONNEL ONLY who operate Service-owned, leased, or rented Off-Road Utility, All Terrain, and Utility Terrain Vehicles. Contact your appropriate Regional Heavy Equipment Coordinator to register for the course
Summary and Objectives:
The course is designed to provide operators of off-road utility vehicle (ORUVs) operators of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate an ORUV in a safe and responsible manner. To provide operators with the skills and knowledge necessary that will allow them to make informed decisions about their own safety, the safety of all around them, and the safe operating techniques of the ORUV. ATV, or UTVs. Allow attendees to demonstrate, through written and actual demonstration, that they have the skills and knowledge to safely operate an ORUV, ATV, or UTVs in accordance with Service policy, manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
