Visitor Services Planning and Review Strike Team

COURSE SESSION

Target Audience:  

Visitor Services Staff. The first class being held in March 2023 will be participants that will be selected by Regional Visitor Service (VS) Leads.  

Summary and Objectives:  

This training is designed for VS Planning and Review Team members who will be conducting VS program reviews at field stations. The course includes team leadership, facilitation skills, and training on tools such as logic models and target audience analysis.  

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

  • Facilitate the development of a Visitor Service Plan. 
  • Provide facilitation for the review of a Visitor Service Plan. 
  • Lead a diverse team to complete a field station review of a Visitor Service Program. 
  • Use tools, including logic models and community analysis to create an actionable VS Plan.
