About Rob Doster
Rob began working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2009 as a regional migratory bird biologist in the Service’s Pacific Southwest Region. After 10 years in California, Rob moved to Colorado in 2019 to help lead the Mountain-Prairie Region’s Migratory Bird Program as the program’s Deputy Chief. Prior to working for USFWS, Rob was a wildlife biologist for 6 years with the Bureau of Reclamation in New Mexico where he focused on inventory, monitoring and recovery efforts for the Southwestern Willow Flycatcher, Western Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and Interior Least Tern. Rob holds a B.A. in biology from Hendrix College, a M.S. in zoology and a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Arkansas.
